The first ever joint exhibition "Zero boundaries - 2014 New York exhibition of cutting-edge creativity Taiwan" was held on December 12th, 7 P.M at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in New York City. There were 37 various types of creative designers to show their work. The opening ceremony was held at the same time. Moreover, there was a performing art projection outside of the TECO building that made it to be a fantasy and eye-catching landmark in midtown Manhattan.
This was the first collaboration of TECO in the planning and emerging designers organized exhibitions of art and design, but also with the new media art, interactive art and architecture projected new art exhibition. These 37 artists were selected from thousands of participants. It showed the variety of new media creation, including computers, technology, installation art mediums and other kinds of topics, using different creative approach, the performance of self-challenge creator creative thinking. In order to show the cooperation and courage, the organization crews also put on the collective animation outside the TECO building, which including romantic castle incarnation and mysterious animal image symbol that bring up a colorful winter warm lively atmosphere.
TECO Ambassador Wei Liang ( Paul) Chang at the opening ceremony said: "This new collaboration art exhibition for the first time overseas and building projection, combined with the New York Winter festival lively pace, to show the creative design, but also the full performance curatorial team of professional and courage, made us see that Taiwanese’s superb talent and artistic talent and creativity. " TECO Education Director Charlin Chang said: "Some of the exhibition artists have won numerous awards at international level. Each piece is very unique and has its own creative approach. The exhibition presents the high-level visual experience.”
