Today’s User Experience Design has come to a new era when every computational system has intelligence, and there are no longer boundaries between different interfaces and platforms. The next generation user experience is not just simply connect A.I. to devices, but to create “Cognitive Immersion”, a new UX design that creates deeper engagement with artificial intelligence, and conversational immersive interfaces, including virtual reality, augmented reality, internet of things, and robotics. Speakers in this event included MIT M.S.A IDEO’s Senior Designer Dan Chen, MIT Media Research Lab specialist Liu Xin, Global Design Service Manager Peter Stanik and Palm Drive Capital Venture capitalist Seamon Chan all shared about the new concepts of “Cognitive Immersion” and marketing strategies. According to their opinion, the boundaries of today's technology and platforms are becoming blurred. Experience design is no longer just linking to artificial intelligence and hardware, to further create the immersion cognitive, designers need to create a new user experience, more deep and more wide to provide a new immersive interface.
All of the speakers agreed that virtual reality is a combination of current technology and design of the inevitable trend, and it will greatly change the existing model of the human world. Education Director Charlin Chang commented that " Education Division NY is very proud to work with AEDA to establish platform for young designers. Through series of technology forums, we have taken concrete actions to support young Taiwanese to explore the new experience design and stimulate creative thinking, and to challenge science and technology trends.
