“Taiwanese Fashion Designers of America 2016” fashion show was successfully held by Education Division of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York (TECO) on Friday, February 5 at 7:00 pm at its building. There were a lot famous New York designers which including Malan Breton, Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator founder, Murat Aktihanoglu and overseas Taiwanese, students nearly 200 people attended to the show. Education Division, TECO had invited 8 young fashion designers who come from prestigious schools of fashion design industry and 30 international models to join the events and to exhibit their designs which including 36 various styles of clothing collection. It was totally an excitement and a fabulous event of the night.
The fashion show primarily showcased 8 Taiwanese designers who create couture and finely tailored garments. The designers are Szu Ting Chen, Pei Ju Ni, Youning Cheng, Rachel Yi Yun Hsieh,Julia Chung Lin Wang, Angie Chuang, Hsiao Chun Chang，Julia Yung Chieh Chang. The concept of this exciting event is to connect with Taiwanese heritage. These 8 designers would like to feature the strong culture bond through their designs. Moreover, they also have the golden opportunity to celebrate their works and showcases how their creativity and unique vision has established Taiwan as a fashion beacon. In addition to bring a unique opportunity for the talented designers, the event will spotlight the finest in up and coming local makeup artists, hair stylists, and striking runway models.
TECO Ambassador Lily L.W.
