Recently, The Ministry of Education (MOE), Education Division of TECO-NY and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) have established a wonderful and successful partnership. MOE and Education Division of TECO-NY have invited RIT Provost Dr. Jeremy Haefner and his team RIT Associate Provost Dr. James Myers, and RIT Computer Engineering Department Head Dr. Shanchieh JayYang visiting Taiwan during December 3 to7. During their trip to Taiwan, they spent time for meetings with people in Ministry of Taiwan, visits to National Taiwan University( NTU), National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) and meeting with RIT’s alumni. They expand their relationship with universities in Taiwan to facilitate collaborative education and research program as well as student exchange opportunities. They also expand the concept of study abroad to include work abroad.
