Shih Chien University and Juniata College Sign Collaboration Agreement for Taiwan Huayu BEST Program

實踐大學與策略夥伴學校美國賓州朱尼亞塔學院(Juniata College)攜手合作,於臺灣時間5月13日簽署「優華語計畫」學術合作協議,朱尼亞塔學院也成為美國第一所加入「臺灣優華語計畫」的博雅學院。本次兩校簽約儀式中,實踐大學郭壽旺副校長偕同駐紐約經濟文化辦事處教育組楊敏玲主任,親赴賓州參與朱尼亞塔學院實體簽約典禮,朱尼亞塔學院校長Dr. James Troha、教務長Lauren Bowen及國際長兼副教務長Dr. Wei-Chung Wang均出席觀禮。

With the support from the Education Division of TECO-NY, Juniata College and Shih Chien University entered into an agreement through the Taiwan Huayu BEST (Bilingual Exchanges of Selected Talent) Program, which encourages cooperation between universities in Taiwan and universities in the U.S. and promotes Mandarin language education in the U.S.. This agreement makes Juniata College the first United State liberal arts college to join the Scholarship Program.

Juniata College and Shih Chien University will work reciprocally to enhance teaching, learning, and internationalization objectives. A visiting scholar from Shih Chien University will be hosted by Juniata annually to teach in-person Mandarin classes. Additionally, online Mandarin classes, TOCFL Chinese language proficiency tests, and online teacher training workshops will be offered to Juniata students through Shih Chien University. Juniata students will have the opportunity to join the Taiwan Huayu BEST Program and assist in English learning activities in secondary and elementary schools in Taiwan through scholarships provided by Shih Chien University.

“We are very excited to be able to advance our relationship with Shih Chien University through the Taiwan Huayu BEST Program,” said Jim Troha, President of Juniata College. “The collaboration with Shih Chien University provides unique opportunities to help cultivate Juniata students to become global citizens, including two students this summer who will be traveling to Taiwan on a scholarship provided by the Program.”

Dr. Sowang Kuo, vice president of Shih Chien University, visited Juniata College to participate in a signing ceremony. “Taiwan Huayu BEST Scholarship Program allowed Shih Chien University and Juniata College to strengthen Mandarin education. We welcome Juniata students to study Mandarin and experience Taiwanese culture during the summer vacation in Taiwan,” said Dr. Kuo.

Juniata College is one of the best liberal arts colleges in the United States, who provides personalized educational experience to empower students to lead a fulfilling life of service and ethical leadership in the global community by promoting international understanding and enhancing educational opportunities. As one of the liberal arts colleges, Juniata College emphasizes on teaching and cultivating young students' personality and developing their critical thinking.

來自美國紐約州的孔蕾雅(Magdalene Castro)經駐紐約教育組推薦獲選為2021年教育部華語文獎學金受獎生,目前就讀臺灣師範大學國語教學中心(MTC)。孔蕾雅擁有國際關係及新聞學位並立志成為一名外交官,透過華獎赴台深造華語使她能具備優秀的語言能力。除臺師大正規課程外,她也參加校方安排之選修課程,如臺語對話課程、臺灣電影欣賞及節慶文化相關活動,藉此更深入了解臺灣文化。孔蕾雅並在課餘時間參與「國際學伴計畫」(International Companions for Learning)與台灣中小學生進行文化交流。

Magdalene Castro is a Dominican-American 2021 Huayu Enrichment Scholarship recipient. She is currently studying Mandarin at National Taiwan Normal University, Mandarin Training Center (NTNU, MTC). She holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations and Asian Studies, and a master's in Journalism from Columbia University. Magdalene aspires to become a diplomat and bring about great change in this world. She deftly knows that her language skills will be vital in facilitating dialogue between different people, both domestically and abroad. This scholarship is equipping her with language tools to further her goal of making the world a more connected and empathetic place.

“One of my passions is learning about the world through language. I’m fluent in Spanish and English and also speak French, Japanese, and a bit of Arabic and Russian. It’s such a beautiful thing being able to communicate with someone in their mother tongue and deepen your connection to the culture associated with that language,” she says. As Magdalene’s Mandarin skills improve, her connection to Taiwan deepens.
Magdalene has enjoyed her learning experience at NTNU’s Mandarin Training Center where she has been challenged daily to reach a new potential with her Chinese language acquisition journey. The university provides students with resources to improve their Chinese through supplementary courses which included Chinese conversation classes, Taiwanese conversation classes, and movie classes to develop listening skills. The university also hosts hands-on events where you can learn more about Taiwanese culture. Magdalene recently participated in a calligraphy class and found the experience to be very enriching. She also loves that her university is diverse and has had classmates from Belgium, the United States, India, Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Paraguay, and Italy.

When Magdalene isn’t studying, she spends a lot of time exploring Taiwan. “Though Taiwan is small, there’s a lot to do here. I live in the metropolis of Taipei and all I have to do is get on a train and 2 hours later I’m at a beach surfing or up in the mountains hiking. It’s a small yet lovely place.” She also dedicates time to giving back to the community and is a volunteer with International Companions for Learning (ICL), where she teaches weekly English classes to elementary school children and introduces them to her Dominican-American culture.

教育部外派華語教師蘇浚生老師任教於美國賓州斯克蘭頓大學亞洲研究系。2022年春季學期於校內舉辦亞洲新年活動工作坊,蘇浚生老師帶領工作坊內容包括:筷子文化介紹、筷子挾物競賽、農曆新年傳統習俗等,師生親自參與體驗春聯書寫及日本摺紙,該工作坊結合新年節慶在校園內推廣亞洲文化,頗受當地媒體重視及報導。

The Asian Studies Program at The University of Scranton held an Asian New Year Festival and Workshop in spring semester, 2022, for students and faculty to learn and experience how different Asian cultures and traditions celebrate Lunar New Year. The Chinese teacher from Taiwan, Mr. Peter Su, indicated that Lunar New Year is one the most significant holidays in Asian countries, such as Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, China, and Vietnam.  Particularly, the Year of Tiger symbolizes the energy and spirit of the king of animals.

The workshop started with a welcoming speech by Dr. Ann Pang-White, Director of Asian Studies and Professor of Philosophy at The University of Scranton. Following her introduction, two Asian instructors presented on Asia’s chopstick culture. One of them was Mr. Peter Su from Taiwan. After enjoying some Asian food, attendees participated in a chopstick competition and listened to two presentations about how New Year is celebrated in Taiwan, Japan, and China. Participants also wrote Spring Festival couplets using Chinese calligraphy and made Japanese origami related to the Year of the Tiger.

“A tiger represents the king of animals in Chinese mythology. So, it’s also very fitting this year because it shows courage and braveness, perseverance. And so it’s good for us to have that spirit to fight COVID-19 and to end the pandemic so we can keep ourselves optimistic,” said Dr. Ann Pang-White when interviewed by a local TV station.
 

Maioli County School Embarked An Intercultural Learning Journey With Sister School In New York

苗栗縣立新港國民中小學與美國紐約市Shuang Wen School在駐紐約教育組的牽線下自去年開啟了兩校的國際視訊交流課程,每月固定交流,迄今進行主題包括:雙方自我介紹、台灣的校園生活、猜謎大挑戰Show and tell、我的家鄉–後龍美食文化觀光景點特色介紹等,翻轉式學習旅程讓師生雙方皆浸淫於跨國的課程饗宴。

With the mission of promoting the Taiwan’s Bilingual Nation 2030 Policy, Education Division of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York (TECO-NY) has been actively cultivating possible sister school partnerships between schools in Taiwan and schools within the four states of its service area. In the year of 2021, with the support from the Education Division of TECO-NY, Miaoli County Xin-Gang Elementary and Junior High School has established sister school partnership with Shuang Wen School, a public school in New York City. It has given both schools’ students an opportunity to expose themselves to different cultures, mostly to build the global citizenship and intercultural competence.
 
“Since we’ve built up the connection, we have scheduled monthly online courses with Shuang Wen School. Two courses for elementary department students, one course for teachers and students of junior high department” said Principal Yun Daw Wu of Xin-Gang Elementary and Junior High School. A variety of themes were designed for the online courses, such as self-introduction, school life, show and tell games, and Hakka culture and food introduction. Principal Wu also mentioned that before each online course, a preparation meeting would be held by both schools’ teachers to go through the details, so that they could make sure their students would have a well-rounded learning experience.
 
Xin-Gang achieved a remarkable milestone of global learning connections with their sister school Shuang Wen School. More than 150 students participated in the bilateral exchange online courses. Being the first bilingual school in Miaoli County, Xin-Gang has dedicated to create positive association between Taiwan and other countries in the world through the establishment of sister school partnerships. “We encourage students to learn not only from classes, but also from everywhere in between. Our students have cultivated friendship and practiced cultural exchange with students of Shuang Wen School.” said Principal Wu.
 
“Our students’ English speaking skill has greatly improved due to the monthly online interactivities. They have gained knowledge and perspectives that are beyond textbooks. Shuang Wen gives them an eye-opening experience. Both teachers and students are benefit from this completely immersive cultural experience.” said Xin-Gang.
 
Dr. Jeremy Kabinoff , principal of Shuang Wen School, said “We appreciate Education Division of TECO-NY for initiating conversation about possible collaboration between Xin-Gang and our school.” He also stated that students not only had a chance to practice their Mandarin, but also learned more about Taiwanese culture through the online courses. “We look forward to visiting Taiwan in the near future, and our students can experience cultural exchange in person.” said principal Kabinoff.

US Government’s New Immigration Policies Give a Direct Pathway to International STEM Students

美國白宮1月22日公布說明文件(Fact Sheet)指出,美國擁有的最大優勢之一,就是能吸引國際人才以強化美國經濟與科技之競爭力。為了讓更多科學、技術、工程及數學(Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, STEM)四大領域的外國留學生與國際學者專家長期留在美國發展,拜登政府1月21日宣布多項有關留學及簽證政策改革。根據最新政策,STEM學科留學生畢業後將可在美國工作三年;國土安全部並增列22個STEM學科為三年實習許可計畫(Optional Practical Training, OPT)的適用範圍。

​On January 21, 2022, the US Government announced new immigration policies that will give a direct pathway to the international students of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to study and complete professional training with an employer in the US. Government officials believe those actions not only will help American companies meet their workforce shortage, but also will ease higher education enrollment decline.
 
The US Department of State and Homeland Security (DHS) will add a total of 22 new fields of study to the STEM Designated Degree Program List under Optional Practical Training (OPT) program, which allows graduates in STEM fields to remain in the U.S. after they graduate and to gain practical work experience related to their degree for three years. F-1 students are typically eligible for up to one year of post-graduate OPT. However, for those who graduate with a STEM degree are eligible for extra two years of OPT (STEM OPT). The newly added fields of study include Human-Centered Technology Design, Data Science, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, and Business Analytics. Therefore, a greater number of F-1 students will be eligible for STEM OPT.
 
In addition, early career STEM research initiative for J-1 scholars, specialists, students, interns, trainees, teachers, and professors are revealed. The US Department of State (DOS) has also announced that undergraduate and graduate students on exchange visitor J-1 visas in STEM fields can receive double amount of time up to 36 months in post-graduate academic training in the US. J-1 undergraduate and pre-doctoral students currently are eligible for up to 18 months of post-graduate academic training.
 
Concurrently, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) updated its policy manual to give a wider interpretation of STEM expertise and area of extraordinary ability. It allows immigration officers to determine visa eligibility. USCIS provides additional examples, which gives professionals in STEM fields more evidences to submit when applying for O-1 visa. For example, journal impact factors, relative citations, research experience with notable institutions and unsolicited invitations to speak or present research at scientific conferences are now included in the listed regulatory criteria. O-1 visa is available to people with extraordinary ability or performance in the fields of science, business, education, or athletics.

MOE’s Huayu Enrichment Scholarship Awardee Shares Experience Studying in Hualien

來自美國賓州的張子揚(Dannial Cardillo)經駐紐約教育組推薦獲選為2021年教育部華語文獎學金受獎生,目前就讀花蓮慈濟大學華語中心。他表示,由於新冠肺炎疫情爆發,使得前往以華語為母語的國家進行語言學習變成難以實踐的計畫,他感謝教育部提供華語獎學金予外國學生。有別於其他城市,花蓮會說英文的人較少,正因如此他更有機會能和當地居民練習華語口說,連曾經認為艱澀難學的繁體字也進步神速。最後他表示,慈濟大學獨特的學校特色及辦學宗旨,提供他一個絕佳學習環境讓他能宏觀地了解臺灣歷史與豐富文化。

​Dannial Cardillo is a 2021 HES awardee studying at Tzu Chi Chinese Language Center (CLC) in Hualien. He is from southwestern Pennsylvania and is working on a degree in Chinese Language and Culture, Turkish Language, and Religious Studies at the University of Pittsburgh.
 
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, Dannial shares that it has been difficult for him to engage with foreign languages in a stimulating way. “With the current pandemic, studying abroad in a Chinese speaking country is virtually impossible. But because I am a HES student, I could finally come and immerse myself in Taiwanese culture,” he says. Dannial appears to be adjusting very well too.
 
Attending classes at Tzu Chi is enriching for him because Tzu Chi University is Buddhist and promotes vegetarianism, environmentalism, philanthropy, and loving-kindness. There are Tzu Chi foundations all over the world that work to serve their local communities. Dannial also says that studying at Tzu Chi offers insight into aspects of Taiwanese culture that are less obvious because of the unique values the university upholds. Beginning to slowly understand the intricacies of Taiwan’s history and culture is most rewarding for him.
 
Everyday Dannial appreciates the low hanging clouds atop the mountains only several kilometers from his classroom. He considers it the highlight of each of his mornings in Hualien. “Hualien is one of the most naturally beautiful cities in Taiwan, and I love that I can go to both the seaside and the mountains—all within about an hour or two!” says Dannial.
 
He notes that living in Hualien allows him to use his Mandarin with people in daily life, and that fewer people speak fluent English when compared to large cities such as Taipei, or Kaohsiung. Despite Taiwan using traditional Chinese characters, Dannial, says that the notorious traditional characters he avoided before are not as difficult as he once thought they were. He concludes that Hualian and the Chinese Language Center at Tzu Chi University provide an excellent environment for him to study Mandarin.

紐約州推行Excelsior Scholarship 全美第一州免費大學教育

    紐約州州長Andrew Cuomo於今(106)年1月宣布Excelsior Scholarship計畫,使紐約州成為全美第一個為低收入家庭免去學費的州,並已經於紐約州議會通過。此項目將嘉惠94萬名學生帶來免費的大學教育,主要目的是支助弱勢家庭,為年收入低於12萬5千美元的家庭,免去紐約州立大學系統(SUNY)及紐約市立大學(CUNY)兩年制、四年制的大學學費。

但是Excelsior Scholarship計畫不包含生活費補貼,而且免除學費門檻相當高:第一,去除獎學金得主;第二,獲得Excelsior Scholarship獎學金的學生畢業後需留在紐約州工作,依據其被資助的年限及金額,否則減免的學費將變成學貸。上述規定是為了保障紐約州納稅人資助獎學金得主大學免費教育後,這些受益的學生能在畢業後為紐約州帶來貢獻。

若真正落實零學費,將能減少低收入家庭的學生打工時間,並幫助他們增加上課的時數,以利他們更順利的畢業。根據World Journal的報導:「。根據這項計畫,紐約州和聯邦獎助學金沒有涵蓋的大學學費,都將由州政府的資金補給,州政府預計將在2019年起每年支付1億6300萬元。」

激進人士認為需要做到真正的零學費,除幫助低收入戶學子學費免除外,並可運用獎學金運用在生活費、購買書籍上,而讓學生無須打工,如此才落實零學費。以紐約州立大學賓漢姆頓分校(Binghamton University – State University of New York, SUNY)  為例,該校學費為6,470美元,然而住宿費用、書籍費卻高於1萬4千元美金。根據World Journal的報導:「曾撰寫零負債大學教育白皮書的Demos資深政策分析師休斯曼(Mark Huelsman)表示,不少來自低收入家庭的學生已經擁有支付學費的助學金,為大學生減負的道路仍很長,免學費是一個好開頭,但學費並不是大學生負債的全部原因。」

全美創舉 紐約州推出大學免學費計畫

​根據紐約時報(The New York Times)本(2017)年1月3日報導,紐約州長Andrew Cuomo於1月3日召開記者會,宣布將推出《Tuition-Free Degree Program: The Excelsior Scholarship》大學免學費計畫,將在2019年實施家庭年收入在12萬5000元以下之家庭子弟免大學學費計畫,這是全美國第一個實施免四年制大學學費之提案,為全美創舉。
紐約州長Andrew Cuomo於1月3日記者會現場邀請到之前在民主黨總統候選競選時曾提出這項所有學生免大學學費構想的民主黨籍佛蒙特州(Senator of Vermont)國會參議員桑德斯(Bernie Sanders)也出席記者會現場,他表示高度支持紐約州長Andrew Cuomo這項計畫。Andrew Cuomo州長選擇在紐約市立大學拉瓜地亞社區學院(LaGuardia Community College)召開記者會發佈這項消息,他表示:「最近紐約州積極率先推出許多全美創舉,包括提升最低時薪、帶薪家事假(Paid Family Leave)、同性婚姻合法化、槍支管制,現在又將再一次推出振奮全美的措施,實施《Tuition-Free Degree Program: The Excelsior Scholarship》大學學費計畫,為家庭年收入在12萬5000元以下,就讀於紐約市立大學(CUNY)和紐約州立大學(SUNY)的兩年制、四年制大學生免去學費」,預計這項計畫將可造福94萬名學生免費就讀大學教育。
目前紐約州已經是全美國在地學生入學學費(in-state tuition)最低的州之一,紐約州立大學(SUNY)四年制學費約為$6,470美元、二年制學費為$4,350美元;紐約市立大學(CUNY)大致相同,紐約並揖注十億美元辦理《學費協助方案》(tuition assistance program)協助學生就讀公立大學,不過過去10年來紐約學生申請學費貸款人數已達280萬人,增加了41%。根據紐約州長Andrew Cuomo這項計畫,此項提案將在三年內完成實施,先從家庭年收入低於10萬元的大學生開始、逐年將門檻降低為家庭年收入在11萬以下、於2019年達到讓家庭年收入在12萬5000元以下的學生免公立大學學費。
目前美國只有田納西州(Tennessee)和俄勒岡州(Oregon)提案推行免去兩年制社區大學學費,此次紐約州所規劃之《Tuition-Free Degree Program: The Excelsior Scholarship》大學免學費計畫是全美國第一個免四年制大學學費的計畫,不過這項提案仍需要紐約州議會通過才能實施。

為提倡中文學習風氣及促進大紐約地區校際交流,駐紐約臺北經濟文化辦事處教育組與紐約市立亨特大學(Hunter College, City University of New York)及哥倫比亞大學(Columbia University)合作在本(2016)年12月2日(星期五)假紐約市立亨特大學辦理「2016大紐約地區校際中文歌唱比賽」(2016 New York Metropolitan Area Intercollegiate Chinese Singing Contest),學生們在平日埋首課業及研究之餘,也藉這活動分享中文學習成果及大展歌喉、唱響中文學習的心聲與展現自己的夢想,比賽現場吸引百餘位到場加油的同學、親友團及觀眾,台上台下互動氣氛相當熱烈。
    本次比賽共有17名參賽者,包括來自紐約市立亨特大學、紐約州立大學及哥倫比亞大學等相關大學的學生報名。由於這一次的比賽是針對正在學習中文的大學生,所以報名資格必須為各校中文課在學學生或是以中文為第二語言之學生,參賽者必須自行準備一首華語流行歌曲或中文自創曲參賽。來自紐約市立亨特大學的兩位主持人郭漢彤及文勝使出渾身解數,炒熱現場氣氛,並展現專業的主持功力,讓比賽過程氣氛不斷加溫。現場並邀請駐紐約臺北經濟文化辦事處教育組主任張佳琳、知名民歌家周興立博士、紐約市立亨特大學中文部主任趙德麟教授(Der-lin Chao)、臺灣觀光局駐紐約辦事處張維庭主任、紐約華語歌手及中文教師紀燈偉(David Ji)擔任評審。比賽評審評分標準包括中文表現佔30%(發音、咬字、語文表現)、歌唱技巧佔 30% (音準、情感、唱腔)、舞台表現30% (魅力、感染力、創意)、其他10%(選曲、歌詞、台風)。教育組張佳琳表示:「中文的學習可以是活潑且愉快的,我們希望透過這個活動提倡中文學習風氣及增進學習語言的樂趣」;周興立博士指出:「今天的參賽者表現都很棒、活潑可愛,唱歌是人的本能,這個活動將學中文和歌唱結合,很有意義」。承辦的紐約市立亨特大學羅偉瑄老師( Vivian Lo)及哥倫比亞大學鄭羽珊老師( Yu-Shan Cheng)也認為活動有助提升中文教學成效及促進校際交流。
     本次參賽者選手包括五石翎(Five Stone Quills)、伍凱琳(Jessica Ng)、石天盟( Thomas Sibley)、孟康翎( Christina McGee)、唐書亞(Joshua Tufano)、蔡怡云(Karissa Caputo)、郎美生(Mason Lang)、黄貝妮(Benedith Bruno)、艾明睿(Emil Mella)、付洲升(Joseph freund)、Justin Robbins 、 Kevin Wu、李安妮(Annie Li)、戴卓文 (Trevor Docter)、貝念慈(Nancy Brancati)等等,參賽者演唱自選曲,這些同學在本次比賽中所選的歌曲有中文歌也有華語流行歌曲或中文自創曲參賽,曲目包括月亮代表我的心、原諒我等知名曲目,也有自行改編的歌曲,曲曲感人動聽,參賽者個個使出渾身解數,展現歌喉才藝。最後並由現場觀眾現場進行匿名投票,得票數最高者,選出最佳人氣獎得主。
    經過激烈的比賽,活動最後選出前三名以及人氣獎一名,第一名為郎美生(Mason Lang);第二名為戴卓文 (Trevor Docter)、第三名為唐書亞(Joshua Tufano),人氣獎為蔡怡云(Karissa Caputo),獲勝者分別頒贈獎狀及獎金,整個活動現場氣氛熱烈,參賽者們的演唱十分熱情,擁護者們也一直在下面喊加油,比賽不僅增進了學生們的情誼,也點燃了對學中文及唱歌的熱情,除有助提升中文學習樂趣、促進校際學生情感交流,更展現校園活力與才華洋溢的一面。

全球規模最大紐約馬拉松  5萬多名各國跑者掀運動熱潮

素有全球規模最大的馬拉松賽事之稱的「紐約國際馬拉松賽」,2016年一年一度的賽事於本(2016)年11月6日在紐約開跑,全長26.2哩,吸引超過5萬名來自世界各地跑者加入,沿途更有數十萬觀眾為來自世界各地的選手加油,場面極為熱烈壯觀。
近年來由於各國運動風氣興盛,參與路跑活動人數不斷成長,加上各國政府及運動團體之倡導,各種大型路跑活動不斷增加,不過世界幾項重大國際馬拉松比賽仍然是愛好路跑者所追求的挑戰,尤其若能有機會完成世界六大馬拉松賽事,更是對路跑者最有成就感的壯舉。這世界六大馬拉松賽事包括:紐約馬拉松、波士頓馬拉松、芝加哥馬拉松、倫敦馬拉松、柏林馬拉松及東京馬拉松比賽。這六大馬拉松賽事不僅難度、等級不同,每年也都吸引眾多各國好手參加挑戰自我、突破極限、同時也享受的不同城市的路跑旅程。
紐約馬拉松於1970年發起,每年都在11月初舉辦,路線大都是從史坦登島出發,沿途經過紐約市的五大區,最終點在紐約的中央公園,為世界最大規模的馬拉松比賽。近來由於臺灣路跑活動逐漸風靡,隨著海外華人的馬拉松熱潮,本次「紐約國際馬拉松賽」除了各國選手、本地華人,也有許多來自北美各地華人乃至來自臺灣選手參賽,參賽選手中也可見臺灣跑者穿上印著國旗的T恤參賽,與來自125個國家的參賽選手共享路跑樂趣。

2016年「紐約國際馬拉松賽」男子組冠軍為來自厄立特里亞(Eritrea)21歲的Ghirmay Ghebreslassie以2小時7分51秒的成績,創男子組最年輕奪冠紀錄;女子組冠軍則為自肯亞(Kenya)的Mary Keitany以2小時24分26秒,成為30年來首位奪下紐約馬拉松3連霸的女選手。本次為確保馬拉松順利進行,紐約警方也全面部署數千警力,從陸海空全方位保護比賽安全,整個賽事圓滿順利,紐約市長比爾·白思豪(Bill de Blasio)也表示樂見各國人士熱愛運動、參與健康活動。
