[Program Features]
- The Master’s Program of Global Communication and Innovation Technology (GCIT) is the first international and interdisciplinary graduate program in Taiwan to train comprehensive communication skills in new media technology by incorporating faculty and resources from 5 of NCCU’s colleges: Communication, Informatics, Law, Liberal Arts, and Innovation. Through courses, workshops, and internships, we hope to prepare our students to become outstanding, high-level talents.
- GCIT will cooperate with internationally renowned social media platforms and hi-tech companies to design a unique academic and technical "dual tutorial system.” Each student will have both an academic and a professional advisor to help with their learning and career planning.
- As many as two thirds of the incoming GCIT students will be awarded a full scholarship or a tuition waiver.
- All GCIT students will be provided a subsidy for their 6-month internships, including at least 2 months abroad. Students can gain first-hand experience from Taiwanese and international media and technological industries, nonprofit organizations, cultural institutions, and the public and private sectors.
